About Dr. Steph

Dr. Stephanie Wyllie graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 with first class honours and the university medal. She started her veterinary career in a small mixed practice clinic in rural NSW with a heavy beef and dairy focus in a wonderful small town community.

After 4 fantastic years in her small town Dr. Steph began working as a relief locum veterinarian. She has had the opportunity to practice veterinary medicine and surgery in every state and territory in Australia. She has worked in over 20 small and large hospitals with a huge variety of animals, using her small NSW town as a home base.

In 2022 Dr Steph took her expertise permanently on the road to provide locum relief and mobile vet services across Australia as she travels this sunburnt country. This move to become fully mobile has allowed access to remote towns and communities where the nearest vet might be days drive away, as well as providing vet care in larger towns and cities to residents who might benefit from vet care at home

Dr. Steph will still do occasional locum stints in between mobile work to provide a break to our hard working hospital veterinary staff. This is particularly important for our rural and remote vets who are often understaffed and working full time plus 7 days on call to provide vet care to their community. These vet might struggle to ever take time off due to heavy caseloads, a strong community need and staff shortages.

For clients who are unable to access vet care she currently provides both in person and over the phone veterinary services to ensure that veterinary care is available to everyone from an apartment rabbit living in the city to a dog who lives in a remote community in the outback

If you would like Dr. Steph to come to your town you can request a visit. If enough residents require vet visits she will do her best, depending on location.
